A Glam Travel Inspired Bridal Photoshoot

A mile of highway can take you just a mile but a mile of runway can take you anywhere.

This quote was the inspiration for this bridal session. Long Beach is not only known for its beautiful beaches and laid back lifestyle but also for its aviation community. With the Long Beach Airport quickly becoming a popular hub for travelers from all over the greater LA and OC areas, I felt inspired by the industrial and sleek designs of air travel culture. I wanted to keep the dress sleek and simple, with the focus on an effortless style including an aviator style leather jacket and sunglasses. The bouquet is made of foraged magnolias from local Long Beach trees with long, soft ribbons that really catch the wind in the open tarmac.

Not only was this photoshoot inspired by beautiful fashion and details but I was also inspired by my model Molly. She is currently a flight attendant but is in the process of getting her personal pilot's license with a dream of becoming a commercial pilot. It is a career field that is dominated by men and she wants to be an example that women can do anything they put their mind to. She is a smart and strong female that I really look up to. She has a traveling heart and a passion for adventure. I wanted to show her as a strong and independent woman who can conquer anything, even in a beautiful dress and high heels.
