Nicolette and Jon // An Adventurous and Intimate National Park Wedding

Nicolette has been one of my best friends since basically birth. It only made sense for me to be there to capture the biggest day of her life.

We spent the weekend in the Sierra National Park at Mono Hot Springs Resort in the best little cabins. It was so refreshing for the soul to be away from the city and to be a part of a wedding that followed their personality perfectly. The guys went fly fishing (in the freezing water) and the girls spent quality time that is so hard to come by these days. Piper Ann was also totally in her element in the forest. I'm pretty sure she was meant to be a mountain dog.

The details of their wedding were some of my favorites I have ever seen and been a part of since it was a collective effort to make it extra personal. Her bouquet was foraged wild flowers from around the cabin. The groomsmen boutonnieres were made from pine needles from the abundance of pine trees in the forest. Nicolette's wedding shoes were a perfect pair of knee high hiking boots; perfect for the location and perfect for her style. Her officiant was her younger brother and her other two siblings were in the wedding party.

It was a weekend of family, laughter, dancing, hiking, adventuring and so much love!
