Brittney and Sean // A Rose Gold Industrial Glam Wedding in San Diego

Fun. Relaxed. Loving. If there are three things I could use to explain my perfect wedding couple, it would be this.

Brittney and Sean’s wedding was so fun, there were times my face hurt from smiling. Most of the groomsmen had just got back from a long deployment together so they were all ready to let loose and have some fun. That’s not to say the ladies weren’t ready to party too. My favorite laugh out loud moment of the day was my walk back to the party bus with Brittney and Sean to meet up with the bridal party after their romantic formals. There were two women stopped on the path who were watching the bus down the hill. We asked them what they were looking at and they said, “Oh we are just watching that bus down there. Its so loud and looks like they are having quite the party!” We all just looked at each other and started laughing because that was the best example of how the rest of the day was going to go. I also love the personal touches of decor that hinted at their fun personality and the things they love. (ie I want to go back to my wedding and have a seating chart that says “Seat Yo Self” If you know, you know.)

It was so relaxed (but still punctual) that we had plenty of time to do all the things we wanted but not too much time that we were left sitting around. Brittney and Sean wanted to take portraits up at Cabrillo National Monument which was about 15 min drive from their getting ready hotel. Its a really beautiful iconic location but getting a full bridal party to arrive to a location like that at the same time can sometimes be hard so they booked a party bus to get everyone there together without all the stress. Yay for stress free transportation. They also wanted to enjoy their cocktail hour which meant doing a first look and portraits before the ceremony. By scheduling time before the ceremony for portraits, they were able to relax and mingle with their guests right after the ceremony. This included photographing family portraits before the ceremony, as well. It’s not something I do all the time but, when it works out, getting family photos done before the ceremony can relive a lot of stress.

Lastly, it was filled with so much love that i just wanted to bundle up that feeling and save it for a rainy day. The love wasn’t just between Brittney and Sean but with everyone who was there to celebrate these two awesome people.

There was no shortage of jokes and laughter, delicious cheeseburgers and a fully stocked bar, great music and too many dance offs to count. The venue was gorgeous. The flowers were on point and the bride and groom were everything I could ask for.
